Admission to DAE Program
- Admission to DAE courses in Govt. College of Technology Swabi shall be open to the candidates having the following preference.
- Matric with Science Subject
- TSC/Two year Voc./G-ll, G-III, Level-2,3,4 (CBT) certificate with matric science (on their specific seats only)
- The percentage in SSC Examination shall not be less than 40%.
- 聽Those candidates who are passed in the supply exam in the same year are not eligible for admission.
- Candidate once admitted shall not be eligible for 2time admission in the same college.
- Candidate admission shall be identified by his domicile, original Form B and original CNIC of his father/mother.
- Federal/Provincial Govt. employees sons having KP domicile may be admitted in this college against reserved seats irrespective of their district of domicile/CNIC subject to the condition that they are serving in any government department/ office in District Swabi. Govt. employees shall produce original service certificate at the time of submitting application forms from there competent authority which will be subject to verification.
- N.O.C and study leave from the competent authority is mandatory for employed candidates.
- Merit is based on 100% SSC marks.
Upper age limit to the 1 year class of DAE on the last date fixed for receipt of admissions forms is ”20” years. 02 years relaxation in upper age limit for regular students ndand 05 years for 2 shift students may be granted by the chairman BTE, for which applicants shall have to deposit Rs.1500/- in addition to the normal admission fee. (Fee subject for revision by BTE).
- Open merit candidates shall submit their own forms directly in the admission offices of GCT Swabi.
- Candidates other than merit/ quota shall submit their admission forms through proper channel.
- Retired employees of Technical Education Department should have at last 10 year service in the department.
- Sons of the deceased employees of Technical Education Department are also eligible for admission.
- For admission on seat, reserved for the employees of GCT Swabi, employees of KP-TEVTA, real sons will be preferred over real brothers.
- All Government Officials including those of KP- TEVTA desirous for getting admission in the morning / 2 shift shall have to obtain NOC from the competent authorities.
- There shall be no concession in admission fee for second shift students.
- Shop Assistant & shop Attendant who want to enhance their qualification are allowed to apply in 2 shift on normal fee subject to fulfillment of admission criteria for DAE.
- Candidates from other provinces shall apply through聽Technical Education & Vocational Training Authorities (TEVTA) of concerned province.
- The following categories shall apply through offices mentioned against each:
- Armed Forces (Adjutant General, GHQ Rawalpindi)
- FATA (Secretary home department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)
- AJK (Secretary Nomination Board, Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir)
- Northern Areas
- Director Technical Education Northern Areas Nomination聽/ Admission on the reserved seats mentioned at Sr No. 1 & 2 above should be completed up to the start of the session. Extension of one month may be granted in special cases, after which no admission shall be allowed. If no nominations were received up to prescribed date, the quota seats will be converted to merit seats.The nominated candidates from the other provinces shall provide their verified S.S.C DMC’s from their concerned boards.
Admission is strictly made on merit basis.!Seats left vacant in any category will be filled through open merit.!Promotion forms shall be filled by the students to be promoted to the higher classes.!Promotion fee shall be realized with in a period of one month, in case of default notices shall be served upon the offending students as well as his father. In case of no positive response, the offender shall be drop out from college.!Admission to TSC/ Vocational/ G-II candidates will be granted according to their own trade. If a聽
Merit list and date of interview will be displayed on the college notice board on the date announced and no separate call letters will be issued to candidates.聽10 marks per year will be deducted from SSC marks of candidates passed before Annual 2020. However if a candidate has passed F.Sc, he shall be given relaxation in deduction of marks for two years.路20 marks will be added to Hafiz Quran on production of Hifz Certificate from a registered madrassa plus passing Hifz Test.路When two candidates having same marks, preference will be given to candidates who have some additional technical certificate form EEP/GTVC or the younger one. In case of having same age the test will be taken to finalize the merit.
Selected candidates must be present along with parents/ guardian on the date of interview.路Candidates must bring original documents for verification on the date of interview.路All dues must be deposited at the time of interview otherwise their admission will be cancelled and the next candidate on the merit list will be entertained.路Technology once allotted will be final and will not be changed during the process of admission. If a candidate come late, or remained absent on the date / time of interview, he himself will be responsible for that and consequently he will lose his right of admission.

Admission to Evening Extension Program
Diploma of Information Technology or DIT program is offered for the students who are matric passed and professionals from every walk of life. This is a one year duration program, which covers the fundamental concepts of computer literacy needed in today鈥檚 job environment.
Similarly a one year course of Electrician is also being offered by GCT Swabi. This course is aimed to provide hands on experience along with theoretical concepts required by an Electrician in job market.
One year course on Surveyor is also being offered at GCT Swabi. The purpose of the course is to enable the prospective candidates to apply the skills of a surveyor in the construction industry.

Admission starts in the month of March every year. The interested candidates are directed to visit the College for any additional information.
Admission to Special Courses Offered by PM or CM Initiative under NAVTTC
Every year under the annual development goals, the Prime Minister or Chief Minister initiative for Technical and Skills Education courses are offered. These courses are of various natures. The College advertises such courses in English and Urdu Newspapers. Students of middle level, or Skilled labors who are already working in industry are encouraged to apply to such courses.
